KTM Comes To The Rescue Of A Mountain Crime Victim
“One Team, Seven Challenges”
KTM Bike Industries has come to the aid of Graham Redelinghuys, a mountain biker who was recently robbed of his bicycle near Rhodes Memorial. Graham together with his wife, Simone will be taking part in the Totalsports Terra Firma Challenge presented by Liberty Medical Scheme and REHIDRAT® SPORT on Saturday, 12 January 2013 and KTM Bike Industries has offered to lone him a KTM Comp R2.0 mountain bike for the day.
According to Graham, he is very happy that KTM has offered to help him out this weekend. “My wife and I have been training very hard for our first Terra Firma Challenge. A friend of mine said that I might be able to borrow his bike, but that wasn’t for definite. I am very happy that we will now definitely be able to take part,” says Redelinghuys.
“We are pleased that Graham will still be able to take part in the Totalsports Challenge this coming weekend”, says
Willie Du Plooy, KTM Bike Industries. "We at KTM Bike Industries understand the hard work, training and sacrifice that goes into preparing for an event such as the Totalsports Challenge. Being the official bike partner to this event, when we heard about the unfortunate incident where Graham lost his bike, we just had to help him out for the weekend. We are very happy that he will now be completing the 25km mountain bike discipline on a KTM mountain bike. We wish Graham and everyone participating all the best”.
Graham will be completing the 50km road bike (from Gordon’s Bay to Kleinmond) and the 25km mountain bike discipline, while Simone will complete the 13km road run and 9km beach run.
